Table Makeover

I have been away for so long I think I have forgotten how to take pictures.  The pictures that follow are so blurry and the light is so bad that it is almost embarassing.  I decided to use them regardless since I haven't posted in such a long  time I bet some of you thought I up and moved.

This is a table I had in my living, hand painted by someone (don't know who) .  I loved the curves of the table and the carvings and moldings but I felt they got lost in the creamy paint . 



SO out came the trusted supplies I already had on hand AND my helper:

    Oh I love it! I'm crushing on gray right now. I want to paint my bedroom gray and my bed gray and my nightstand gray. But then maybe that'd be too much gray? :)

    Oh my word.. the detail is amazing! What a piece to swoon over!! Sure would be cool if they made appliques that beautiful so one could add that detail to anything plain.

    I just love it! It was worth painting over the flowers to let the carved spots be the focus.

    I had to read your post twice to figure out how you attached the decorative molding! LOL What a difference! I didn't even notice the decorative molding with it painted the way it was before. Great job, and great make over.
