Happy 2011

Sending prayers on Angel Wings....
Wishing you all a Happy, Prosperous, Healthy, Joyous and Peaceful 2011.

These were on my dining room chairs this Christmas.

Ignore the mess in the background - as I was putting away my dining room Christmas decor, I realized that I hadn't shared pictures with you of my decor this season.  Caught a quick glimpse of the remains of my dining room (my angel wing chairs).

I promise to do better and will definately incorporate this again next Christmas so stick with me.  This year has been a whirlwind for me, new challenges at work, and at home have made it almost impossible to participate in blogland.  I am catching up slowly but surely and didn't want the year to end without sending out my best wishes to each and every one of you my dear blog friends.

  3. Thanks for stopping by Pandora's Box....as for the checkered painting technique, I do it free hand with the same colors that MacKenzie-Childs uses (white, black, gold, green, blueish purple) as I paint each check, I drag the side edge of the brush thru one of the 3 accent colors. I paint the white checks first and then paint the black...It is so easy and fun to do (I call it "doodling"!!) Happy weekend
